Psychosomatic Wellness Nurse Coaching is a therapeutic journey that aims to resolve trauma, restore balance in the body, and increase resilience to life challenges. It uses the biopsychosocial model which views health disorders as a result of biological, psychological, spiritual, behavioral, interpersonal, and environmental factors.

The body has this amazing power to heal itself. The power of the mind does matter. A positive and determined mindset can heal the body by interacting with the physical to overcome disease and foster health and healing by balancing mental, physical, and spiritual health.

Symptoms such as headaches, chronic mental and physical fatigue, irritable bowel, mental and bodily stress, sleep disturbances, and other such symptoms can often occur when there is no underlying illness or pathology to attribute it to, and sometimes it is a secondary symptom to an acute or chronic disease that a person may be battling.

Through psychosomatic nurse coaching, the client can address:

  •  building rapport with the nurse coach,
  • being aware of the mind-body connection,
  • developing interventions, techniques and goals to alternate and intertwine body exercises with exploring psychosocial connections and conversations for the promotion of optimal wellness.

These techniques of alternating nurse coaching and physical body exercises help people become aware of their bodies, how the body and mind interact, and what is individually effective for them to balance themselves and their energy.

“The power that made the body, heals the body.” ~ Joe Dispenza

As a master practitioner of yoga/meditation (and its use as therapy), a nurse of 24 years, a marathoner and triathlete, and a super-experiencer of psi, mystical, and spiritual experiences, I am highly aware of the interactions and balances of our mind and body connection because our energy is integrated through the mental, physical, and spiritual as one equal manifestation within ourselves.

I am passionate about psychosomatic techniques of movement and mindfulness and integrating them with other supportive methods within lifestyle medicine, whole-food plant-based nutrition, and positive and hope psychology. I look forward to coaching you on your psychosomatic and psycho-spiritual healing journey. Let’s empower the mind and body together!
